Ingredients
- •1 cup Fresh Turmeric Root
- •1 cup Mango Ginger
- •½ cup Green chilies (Long, less spicy variety)
- •5-6 Lemon - extract juice
- •2 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- •1 tbsp Methi seeds (soaked in water for 30 minutes, drain and pat dry)
- •¼ tbsp Hing
- •2-3 tbsp Oil
- •2 tbsp Salt
Method
- 1Scrape the outer covering of the raw turmeric and Mango ginger roots and cut them in small pieces.
- 2Then to a kadai add oil and heat then add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and let them splutter then the asafoetida and turmeric powder and cut green chillies.
- 3Then add the cut pieces of raw turmeric root and Mango ginger and salt and mix it for 2, 3 minutes.
- 4Switch off the gas allow to cool then add the lemon juice and mix again.
- 5Store in a glass jar or pickle jar.

Mango ginger and all the other spices all have healing properties.
