Easy Mock Waldrof Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Curd
  • cup Apples, cubed
  • 10 nos. Black Grapes
  • 1 cup Cucumber, cubed
  • ¼ cup Capsicum, chopped
  • 2 Lettuce leaves, shredded
  • 4 tbsp Walnuts, cut into medium bits
  • 2 tbsp Raisin
  • 1 stalk Celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp Pounded pepper
  • ½ tsp Mustard powder or paste
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Salt- to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place the curd in a thin mesh strainer and drain off the water
  • In a bowl place all the cut vegetables and apples, chill for some time
  • Transfer the hung curd to a mixing bowl, combine it with pounded pepper, mustard, salt, and honey
  • Gently mix in the chilled vegetables, chopped celery and fruit into the curds mixture
  • Add the walnuts and raisins, adjust seasonings
  • Chill for some time
  • Serve in a lettuce leaf lined bowl
  • * Boiled cubed chicken can be added to the salad if desired
