soaked for 30 minutes and drain

Chana dal
soaked for 1 hour and drain

Instructions
Grind the soaked dals and the green peas. Mix in the chopped garlic, ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves.
Add the finely chopped onions, grated carrot, jeera powder, and salt to taste to the batter in a large mixing bowl.
Heat the non stick tawa. Spread a ladle full of batter to form a pancake. Cook till light brown on both sides, drizzling a little oil on the sides
Serve hot with sauce/chutney of your choice
