In a pressure cooker add the oil/ghee, add sliced onions, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, crushed pepper corns and garlic
Sauté for 2-3 minutes, add the peeled and cubed red pumpkin, sauté for a minute
Add the turmeric and chili powder, add salt and sauté again
Add the flour, sauté for a minute
Add about a cup of water
Close the lid and cook for one whistle and 5 minutes on low flame
When the cooker cools, open, cool the contents, remove the cinnamon stick
Blend in a mixer till smooth
Add some more water, simmer on a low flame
Add the milk, simmer for a while
Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves or a little grated cheese if you desire
