Dates, finely chopped

Walnuts, finely chopped

Custard powder/rajgira powder

Skim milk powder
You can add the fruits of your choice
Instructions
Mix skim milk powder into 2 cups of milk and heat n a very low flame in a thick bottomed saucepan
In a small bowl combine 1/4th cup of milk and 2 tablespoon of custard powder/ rajgira powder, blend well and keep aside
Gradually add the custard powder – milk mixture to the milk in the saucepan and continue whisking on a very low flame to prevent formation of lumps.
Continue cooking till the custard thickens, put off flame and set aside to cool, stirring intermittently
Once the custard has cooled, chop the fruits and mix them along with the dry fruits into the custard.
Portion out into serving bowls and serve chilled
Note: If using rajgira powder you may add a few drops of vanilla essence if desired
