CHICKOO BANANA DATES CUSTARD

Chickoo Banana Dates Custard
Ingredients
- 2¼ cup Skim milk
- ½ tbsp Apple (peeled and cut into small pieces)
- ½ tbsp Grapes (peeled and cut into small pieces)
- ½ tbsp Chickoo (peeled and cut into small pieces)
- ½ tbsp Banana (peeled and cut into small pieces)
- 2 tbsp Dates, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Walnuts, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Custard powder/rajgira powder
- 2 tbsp Skim milk powder
- You can add the fruits of your choice
Instructions
- Mix skim milk powder into 2 cups of milk and heat n a very low flame in a thick bottomed saucepan
- In a small bowl combine 1/4th cup of milk and 2 tablespoon of custard powder/ rajgira powder, blend well and keep aside
- Gradually add the custard powder – milk mixture to the milk in the saucepan and continue whisking on a very low flame to prevent formation of lumps.
- Continue cooking till the custard thickens, put off flame and set aside to cool, stirring intermittently
- Once the custard has cooled, chop the fruits and mix them along with the dry fruits into the custard.
- Portion out into serving bowls and serve chilled
- Note: If using rajgira powder you may add a few drops of vanilla essence if desired
