Protein Punch Dosa

  • 1 cup* Soya bean
  • ½ cup Urad dal
  • ½ cup Moong dal
  • ½ cup Rice
  • ½ cup Chana dal
  • 1 tsp Methi seeds
  • 2 tsp Ginger chilli paste
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • Salt–to-taste
  • 1 tsp Sugar


  • Soak soya bean in warm water overnight, drain, sprout
  • Soak rice, moong dal and urad dal and Chana dalin water adding the methi seeds
  • Grind the sprouted soya beans, rice, moong daland urad dal and Chana dal to a smooth paste
  • Add ginger-chilli paste, jeera, salt and sugar,mix well, keep aside for 20-25 minutes
  • Heat a no-stick pan, spread a ladle full of thebatter like a dosa, drizzle some oil on the sides, turn, cook till done
  • Serve hot with chutney of your choice
  • *Can use soya flour and grind with other ingredients in place of soaked soya beans


Finely chopped onions, coriander leaves and chilies can also be added to the dosa. Serve with Coconut Garlic Chutney.
