Green Peas Pancakes
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup Whole Green gram soaked for 30 minutes and drain
- ¼ cup Chana dal soaked for 1 hour and drain
- ½ cup Green peas
- ¼ cup Carrot,grated
- ¼ cup Onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves,chopped
- ½ tsp Garlic, chopped
- ½ tsp Green chillies, chopped
- ½ tsp Ginger, grated
- 1 tsp Jeera powder
- 1 tbsp Oil for greasing and cooking
- 1 tsp White til
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Grind the soaked dals and the green peas. Mix in the chopped garlic, ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves.
- Add the finely chopped onions, grated carrot, jeera powder, and salt to taste to the batter in a large mixing bowl.
- Heat the non stick tawa. Spread a ladle full of batter to form a pancake. Cook till light brown on both sides, drizzling a little oil on the sides
- Serve hot with sauce/chutney of your choice
Notes
- Moong dal, Chana Dal and Peas contain good levels of fibre, protein and folate making this a healthy recipe.
