Jowar Makhana Granola Delite
Ingredients
- 1 cup Jowar puffs
- ½ cup Black dates (seedless)
- ½ cup Oats
- ¼ cup Makhana
- 1 tbsp Almonds
- 1 tbsp Walnuts
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Dried black raisins
- 2 tbsp Peanut butter or butter
- 2-3 tbsp Honey
- ¼ Salt
Instructions
- Dry roast the oats, jowar puffs, oats, makhana, sesame seeds and nuts separately. Crush and keep aside.
- Grind the seedless dates in a food processor and keep aside.
- Heat butter on a low flame on a non stick pan, add all the ingredients and mix thoroughly to form an even mass
- Grease a tray or a thali with butter and pour the granola mixture onto it. Flatten it evenly with the back of a greased vati
- Sprinkle raisins on top and press them down
- Cover with a grease proof paper and set aside in the refrigerator for about 2 hours
- Cut out into even sized rectangles.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
