Protein Punch Dosa
Ingredients
- 1 cup* Soya bean
- ½ cup Urad dal
- ½ cup Moong dal
- ½ cup Rice
- ½ cup Chana dal
- 1 tsp Methi seeds
- 2 tsp Ginger chilli paste
- 1 tsp Jeera
- Salt–to-taste
- 1 tsp Sugar
Instructions
- Soak soya bean in warm water overnight
- Drain and sprout
- Soak rice, moong dal and urad dal and Chana dal in water adding the methi seeds
- Grind the sprouted soya beans, rice, moong dal and urad dal and Chana dal to a smooth paste
- Add ginger-chilli paste, jeera, salt and sugar, mix well
- Keep aside for 20-25 minutes
- Heat a no-stick pan, spread a ladle full of the batter like a dosa, drizzle some oil on the sides, turn, cook till done.
- Serve hot with chutney of your choice

Coconut Garlic Chutney
Ingredients
- ½ cup Scraped coconut
- 1 tbsp Chana dal Dalia
- 2-3 Dry Red Chilli
- 5-6 flakes Garlic
- ¼ inch Ginger
- 1 tbsp Onion
- ½ Tamarind – lemon size or to taste
- 7-8 Curry leaves – in number
- Salt-to taste
For Vaghar
- 2 tsp Oil
- ½ tsp Rai
- ½ tsp Urad dal
- 1 Green chili
- 2 Curry leaves
- Few pinches Hing
Instructions
- Grind the chana dal Dalia
- Add the remaining ingredients : “A” and grind adding a little water
- Adjust the seasonings
- Transfer the chutney into a serving bowl
- Give a “Vagar” using Ingredients : “B”
- Serve with idlis, Dosas or other snacks
